I believe that photography should capture the feeling of a memory, turning it into a visual heirloom that can be enjoyed for years to come.
I have been in love with stories and storytelling since I was a child That love began as an avid reader of romantasy books and eventually led me to get a degree in theatre.
As a performer, director, singer, actor, and dancer, I have been storytelling for as long as I can remember. I am inspired by the human experience and bringing the small details of it to the forefront.
I got my first camera when I was 14 years old. 10 years later, it is still love at first sight.
About my sessions
My years in the theatre have taught me both how to read a room, direct without forcing, and recognize moments as they happen. That instinct inspires my work today. While I am there to guide you, I am more focused on making sure the real emotions get seen/
My work lives in a warmth of memories. Softened around the edges and golden in the middle. I deliberately edit towards this warmth.
I come from a world where the work has to survive long after the process begins. This belief manifests itself in my packages. Each package at Cierre Denise Creative also comes with a credit towards prints, albums, and wall art. We walk through and design these items heirloom items together, so they can perfectly encapsulate your memories.
My lifestyle sessions cover senior portraits, family sessions, engagement sessions, and more. Each of these come with the following:
- An hour to an hour and a half session
- Up to 2 locations
- A questionnaire to create a personalized session
- Full gallery delivered in an online gallery
- Personalized revel and ordering appointment for prints and products
- A $150 credit towards prints and products

Steps to book your session
I. Submit your inquiry!
II. I will respond with a link to book your date
III. I will send you a contract sign! And send you an invoice for your $100 non-refundable retainer.
IV. You will receive a questionnaire from me. Here you will choose your location(s) and any additional add ons
V. I will send you your final invoice. This is due 48 hours before your session.

The Experience
Before The Session
Ensure your clothing is clean and wrinkle free. Have any props that you would like to include in your photos prepared and ready. Depending on the season, you will also want to be mindful of sun exposure. Sunburns and tan lines can be difficult to edit out post-session. Apply sunscreen!
5-7 days you will receive a text from my phone number. This text will have our session plan and any additional information you might need. If there are questions about parking, I will send information on that, or a pin if necessary.
The session day
THE BEST DAY EVER!! Gather all your outfits, your props, your beautification necessities, and meet at our pre-discussed location.
Remember to eat (hunger will affect your mood!) and stay hydrated. Depending on our session plan, we will be shooting for an extended period of time, and have outfit changes.
I will be there to guide you the entire time. I will have prompts and poses ready for you. No need to feel nervous! This is my opportunity to ensure you have an enjoyable experience. I want to make sure you have fun and capture the best photos of you.
After the session
Your photos will be ready for digital delivery 2-3 weeks after your shot. When they are ready, I will reach out to schedule your design and ordering appointment. We will go through what products are available and utilize your credit.
Once these are delivered, we will discuss the best options for pickup or delivery!
What to wear
A common question before a session is "What should I wear?" Utilizing the questionnaire you submitted, we will pick locations, and plan your dream photoshoot. Please be authentic to you! You should opt for comfortable clothing that you will feel comfortable in. You can bring outfits that represent hobbies, casual outfits, more formal outfits. The world is your oyster!
Go with the Flow
Wearing a dress or a skirt that you can twirl around in can create lots of movement. Movement can really transform your photo from something stagnant to something that feels alive.
