I am so glad you're here!
My journey with photography started almost 10 years ago. I have always had a love of storytelling, and the beginning of my career was filled with surrealist photo edits.
This helped me notice the story in every day images. Hands that forget to let go, eyes that find each other in a crowd. Along with that, my degree and years of experience in the theatre gave me fluency in lighting, visual storytelling, advanced subject direction.
I brought all of this knowledge behind the camera, into couples' sessions, weddings, and solo portraits.
I am based in the Kansas City Metro area, but I'll travel worldwide to document love whereever it's found and creating work that is meant to last far beyond the screen.

My Artistic Statement
My years in the theatre have taught me both how to read a room, direct without forcing, and recognize moments as they happen. That instinct inspires my work today. I’m not necessarily direct a scene. I’m making sure the real one gets scene.
My work lives in a warmth of memories. Softened around the edges and golden in the middle. I deliberately edit towards this warmth.
I come from a world where the work has to survive long after the process begins. Because of this mindset, I care just as much about what happens after the camera has finished clicking as I do about the moments before.
An image on a screen fades into the background. An heirloom album can be pulled down for decades to come. A piece of wall art can bring you back to the moment in an instant.
